A metal roof can look sound across its broad panels while a connection lets water in. If your Santa Rosa property develops a leak, the assessment should identify the roof system and the failed detail before choosing a repair material.

Clarify the limits of localized work
Ask whether the proposal involves a seam, fastener area, panel, penetration, or surrounding flashing. Check whether adjacent materials need to be removed and whether the finished repair will be visible from the ground.
If there are several leaks or wider deterioration, discuss whether a broader condition assessment is worthwhile. A material’s general reputation for longevity does not tell you how a specific roof was installed or maintained.
